Engineering Surveys

 

We specialise in setting-out grid lines, columns, beams, lift shafts, retaining walls, bolts etc. with an accuracy of less than 5mm. We also calculate column cast heights and do pre-pour checks on decking- and shutter-boards to confirm all is within project tolerances before concrete pours commence. Furthermore, we do as-built surveys and complete as-built drawings of Bridges, Buildings, Warehouses, Plant, etc.

Bulk Earthworks and Volumetric Surveys

 

We specialise in the setting-out of mass earthworks, super-basements and bulk platforms and calculating monthly cut and fill volumes thereof, including progressive rock models and rock volumes. Furthermore, we specialise in surveying of stockpiles, borrow pits, quarries, mine tailings etc.  and calculating volumes thereof.

Topographical and Detail Surveys

We specialise in detail surveys to define all natural (Rock formations, dams, streams, trees etc.) and man-made (Buildings, walkways, manholes, kerbs etc.) features on the ground surface including contours at any interval required.

Survey Benchmarks and Control Networks

 

 

 

 

We specialise in the constructing of new survey control; pillar beacons and concreted benchmarks, establishing high accuracy local engineering survey systems (LESS) for setting out engineering work. Furthermore, we do Ground Control for Aerial Imaging (Drone, UAV, Aircraft and Satellite). The ground control targets placed and measured will be according to the client’s specifications and preferences.

Opencast Mining

 

We specialise in the calculating and setting-out of blast patterns, calculating drill depths, placing of grade-boxes as well as the monitoring of structures and ground movement. We also measure monthly ex-pit and stockpile volumes, calculate tonnages and allocating the volumes and tonnages to blast block partitions.

Road Surveys

 

 

We specialise in the calculating and setting-out of profile poles with levels on at any desired offset, setting-out batter boards with the relevant information captured on them, setting-out; bell-mouths, culverts, V-drains, etc. Furthermore, we do road layer works volume calculations.
